Yes. Every NUKHA SKU is halal-compliant. No alcohol-based flavourings, no gelatin, no non-halal additives.

Unopened: 12–18 months at room temperature in a cool, dry place. No fridge needed.

Opened: Best consumed within 2–3 weeks. After opening, re-seal the pouch tightly or transfer to an airtight container. Exposure to humidity will soften the crunch.

No. Because the water is removed, there’s nothing to melt. Freeze-dried products are completely heat-stable — you can leave them in a car, a school bag, or a picnic hamper in 45°C weather with zero issues. That’s one reason we built the brand specifically for the UAE climate.

In most cases, yes. Freeze-drying removes water at −50°C through sublimation, which avoids the heat that hot-air dehydration uses — so the cell structure stays intact. Traditional dried fruit is often coated in added sugar or oil; NUKHA fruits have no added sugar (except Sugared Strawberry, clearly marked).

Most of our fruit products have no added sugar — just the natural sugar of the fruit itself. The one exception is “Freeze-Dried Sugared Strawberry” which has a light pure-cane-sugar dusting, clearly marked on the pouch.

Freeze-drying removes ~90% of the water weight. A 30g pouch of freeze-dried mango contains the fruit content of roughly 300g of fresh mango. Our 45g mixed fruits pouch = ~400g fresh equivalent.

Most are. All freeze-dried fruits, vegetables, coconut, and rainbow candy are 100% plant-based. The ice cream range (Nutella, Saffron-Pistachio, Mixed) contains dairy and is not vegan. Every product page lists ingredients clearly.

All freeze-dried fruit, vegetable, and candy products are naturally gluten-free. Our ice cream range is also gluten-free. We do not produce any gluten-containing products in our Ajman facility, so cross-contamination risk is minimal.
